CCESD Mission is to protect the lives and property of the rural residents of Cameron County from fires, both natural and man-made hazards; and to provide emergency care in a coordinated and professional delivery of emergency medical services.
CCESD Vision is to increase the quality of service in fire protection and emergency care in a cooperative effort and continue to increase fire prevention and emergency medical skills.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
- To reduce the incidence of fire loss of life through public fire safety education.
- To determine the origin and cause of fires.
- To ensure safety in commercial and public buildings by conducting annual inspections to identify and reduce fire hazards.
- To assist in the prosecution of individuals when warranted.
- To monitor and provide technical and professional assistance to the CCESD Fire Service Providers to include the volunteer fire departments under contract with Cameron County

- Analysis of fire calls from CCESD Fire Service Providers
- Report on issues of concern with CCESD Fire Service Providers
