Training

- Necessary for All Members to Achieve a Basic level prior to being appointed for Field Duty.
- Training Hours are the responsibility of the member to report to the Training Division.
- Must Have Instruction Signature by Authorized Instructor
- Acceptable Hours are recorded by the Division.
Membership
Application Requirements – Must be 18 YOA – No Previous Training Required – Physical Fitness Requirements – No Class B Misdemeanors or Higher w/in 3 Years –Clean Driving Record |
Application Process – Application Form – Background Auth. Form – Must be approved by City Manager – Voted on by the department membership – Minimum of Majority Vote by 51 % plus – Vote is by Quorum of 2/3 department membership. |

–Training Division will provide FF1 (As set forth by SFFMA)
–Training Module may be in house or at an Approved local school.
–Issued In Compliance Bunker Gear & Communication Equipment.
–Probation period of 6 Months
- Probation includes, but not limited to, Required Training, Testing (Department Policies, Standard Operating Guidelines, Maps), Attendance to Meetings/ Training, Acceptable Behavior.
